Keren Marathon Running Story
I started running marathons because our son was born, and it allowed me to take him with me in his stroller while he slept, giving my wife a chance to rest.
Additionally, at the age of 40, I shifted my focus towards maintaining my overall health proactively, which led me to switch from strength training to endurance training. In the first five years, I stuck to 10km races and couldn't even imagine completing a full marathon. However, when I suddenly achieved a sub-40-minute 10km run and completed a half marathon in under 90 minutes, I felt confident enough to tackle my first full marathon. I successfully completed it in 3 hours in Barcelona.
I find these events to be wonderful opportunities to explore different parts of the world while pursuing my passion for running. As a personal trainer, I also share my knowledge and experience with my clients to help them succeed in their own races.
Running marathons has not only improved my physical fitness but has also taught me valuable lessons in discipline, perseverance, and goal-setting. It has become a significant aspect of my life, allowing me to challenge myself, explore new places, and inspire others to achieve their own fitness goals.
I am grateful for the journey that running marathons has taken me on, and I look forward to continuing to push my limits and inspire others through my personal training services.
